Pergola technology decides how a terrace behaves in rain, sun and wind. It covers motorised aluminium louvres and rainwater that drains through the posts. It also covers fabric roofs that gather on rails and zip screens that stay taut in their side rails. We have built every system to project in our own factory in Akyazı, Sakarya, since 1989.

What does pergola technology cover?
Pergola technology covers how the louvres move and how rainwater drains out of sight. It also covers how a fabric roof gathers on its rails and how a zip screen stays taut. The aluminium profiles use stainless steel fittings and an electrostatic powder coating. Our technical team calculates the wind, snow and size values for each project and confirms them in writing.
01Systems
Pergola technology, from profile to fabric.
Louvred roofs, fabric roofs and zip screens leave the same factory with the same profile language. However, each one moves differently and uses its own materials.
Louvre system
Motorised aluminium louvres form a roof against rain when closed and give shade and airflow when open. Because they stop at intermediate angles, they follow the sun; on SkyMax and SkyPro the panels also slide back.
Drive and control
You operate the louvres, motorised fabric roofs and zip screens by remote control. With the optional rain and wind sensors, the roof can also close by itself when the weather changes.
Hidden drainage
Rainwater collects in channels along the louvres and drains down through the posts. Drainage and cabling stay inside the profiles, so no pipes or cables show on the terrace.
Fabric roofs
On retractable roof systems, a PVC-based technical fabric folds back along rails, by motor or by hand. The Avantgarde fabric also offers blackout, waterproof and flame-retardant properties.
Zip screens
The fabric edges of i-Zip Screen run in side rails with a zip, so the screen stays taut. It protects against sun, wind, rain and insects, and the motor box stays hidden.
Finishes and colours
The aluminium profiles carry an electrostatic powder coating and join with stainless steel fittings. You choose RAL colours or wood-grain finishes to suit the building.

Values follow the project.
We design our systems for rain, wind and snow conditions. However, the series alone does not decide how a pergola performs on site. Size, location, the connection to the building and the local climate all change the result. That is why our pergola technology comes with project values in writing, not one general figure.
First, our technical team takes the size, ground, wind and sun direction on site or from your drawings. Then it calculates the load-bearing details and plans the drainage point and power supply with the project. The results go into a project-specific technical sheet, and architects receive drawings and technical information from the same team.

03Process
From drawing to commissioning, step by step.
Pergola technology starts at the survey and ends at commissioning. We follow the same sequence on every project, so values, production and installation match.

Survey and drawings
We take the size, ground, wind and sun direction on site or from your project. The use case and any side closure become clear at this stage.
- 02
Series and details
Together we choose the series, colour, finish and extras such as sensors, LED lighting and heaters. Then we plan the drainage point and power supply with the project.

Technical sheet and quote
The project values go into a technical sheet. You receive the written quote and delivery schedule at the same stage.
- 04
Production
We make the system to the project size in our factory in Akyazı, Sakarya. The profiles receive their electrostatic powder coating before packing.

Installation
In Türkiye our own team installs the system. Abroad, an authorised dealer or the project's installation team works with the installation manual, drawings and remote technical support.

Commissioning and service
After installation the team starts the system and commissions it. Warranty registration and after-sales support then run through one contact.

Questions about pergola technology.
Does a louvred pergola leak in the rain?
Closed louvres form a sheltered roof against rain. Water collects in channels along the louvres and drains down through the posts. With the correct pitch, correct installation and regular maintenance the terrace stays dry in rain. An optional rain sensor can also close the roof at the first drops. The survey then defines the drainage point for your project.
How do pergolas handle wind and snow?
We design our systems for rain, wind and snow conditions. However, the load a pergola can take depends on the series, size, location and fixing to the building. That is why our technical team calculates wind and snow values per project and confirms them in writing. This way you decide on the facts of your own terrace, not a general figure.
Are the cables visible?
Not in the louvred systems. Power lines and drainage run inside the profiles, so no pipes or cables show on the terrace. On i-Zip Screen the motor box also stays hidden. We plan the power supply for extras such as LED lighting, heaters and sensors at the survey. The cable routes are then clear before installation.
Which colours are available for aluminium pergolas?
The aluminium profiles carry an electrostatic powder coating in RAL colours or wood-grain finishes. The i-Zip Screen and Toscana fabrics also offer colour options; Toscana, for example, comes in cream, grey and beige tones. We choose the colour with you at the survey or from drawings, and it goes into the written quote.
