01How it works

The roof of the SkyLounge bioclimatic pergola consists of aluminium louvres that a motor rotates on their own axis. Instead of sliding back, the louvres stop at the angle you choose. So one roof gives you soft morning light, full shade at noon and a gentle airflow in the late afternoon.
When rain starts, the louvres close and the seating area below stays sheltered. Rainwater collects in channels along the louvres and drains through the posts via integrated downpipes. Drainage and cabling also stay inside the profiles, so no pipes or cables show around the pool.

Rotating aluminium louvres
On the SkyLounge louvred pergola, the louvres turn on their axis and hold any intermediate angle. This way you decide how dense the shade is, depending on the sun.
Integrated downpipes
Rainwater runs from the louvre channels into downpipes inside the posts. As a result, no visible drainpipe crosses a villa or hotel pool deck.
Motor and remote control
You adjust the louvre angle by remote from your lounger. With the optional rain and wind sensor, the roof also closes by itself when the weather turns.
Shade in summer, glass in winter
In summer, if you want extra shade, zip screens close the sides. When winter comes, glass panels shelter the lounge area from the wind.
Light and heat
LED lighting and heater options extend the evening. Our team plans their power supply at the survey, so the cabling stays hidden.
Finish and materials
Aluminium profiles receive an electrostatic powder coating and stainless steel fittings. You also choose from RAL colours and wood-grain finishes to match the architecture.

Yes. When you close the louvres, the SkyLounge bioclimatic pergola forms a sheltering roof. Rainwater collects in channels along the louvres and drains through the posts via integrated downpipes. With correct installation and regular maintenance, the seating area stays dry in the rain. We also check the ground and the drain point at the survey, so the water outlet suits your site.
What is the difference between SkyLounge and SkyMax?
Both series use motorised aluminium louvres that rotate. However, SkyMax panels also retract to open the sky, while SkyLounge louvres only rotate on their axis. Can you use SkyLounge in winter?
Yes. When closed, the louvres of the SkyLounge bioclimatic pergola protect against rain and snow, and glass panels on the sides keep out the wind. Heater and LED lighting options also extend the evening. So the lounge area that gives shade in summer stays in use in winter too. Our technical team calculates dimensions and structural details for the snow and wind conditions of each project.
