On the i-Zip Screen zip screen, the motor sits in a hidden box and lowers and raises the fabric. A zip holds both fabric edges in the side rails. As a result, the screen stays taut while it moves and once it is down.
You lower and raise the screen by remote control, so you close the terrace from your seat. In addition, fabric colour options let the screen match the pergola and the façade.
i-Zip Screen works on pergola sides, verandas, windows, balconies, restaurant terraces and façades. On Sky Series bioclimatic pergolas it fits between the posts; SkyMax, for example, can close on every side with zip screens.

Are zip screens wind resistant?
On the i-Zip Screen zip screen, a zip holds the fabric edges in the side rails. Therefore the screen stays taut in the wind. However, the wind conditions in which it can stay down depend on the size and the installation site. Our technical team calculates these values for your project and confirms them in writing, so you know the limits from the start.
What is the difference between i-Zip Screen and Toscana?
i-Zip Screen runs on a motor and works vertically, blocking sun, wind, rain and insects from the side. Toscana, however, is a pergola awning that you open and close by hand, and it shades from above. So one covers the sides and the other the top. At the survey we decide together which one suits the orientation of your terrace.
Can I use my terrace in winter with zip screens?
i-Zip Screen protects against wind and rain from the side, so you can use the terrace longer on cool days. For a fully enclosed winter terrace, however, we plan a louvred roof, glass panels and heaters together; SkyMax, for example, can close on every side with zip screens or glass in winter. Our technical team also calculates wind and snow values for the project.
What does an i-Zip Screen zip screen cost?
