Louvered roof technology decides how your patio handles rain, sun and wind. It covers motorized aluminum louvers and rainwater that drains through the posts. It also covers fabric roofs that fold back on rails and zip screens that stay taut in their side rails. We have built every system to order in our factory in Sakarya, Türkiye, since 1989.

How does louvered roof technology work?
Louvered roof technology uses a motor to turn the aluminum louvers, while rainwater drains out of sight through channels and posts. Fabric roofs fold back along rails, and zip screens stay taut in side rails. The aluminum profiles use stainless steel fittings and an electrostatic powder coat. Our technical team calculates wind and snow values for your project and confirms them in writing.

Louvered roofs, retractable fabric roofs and zip screens come from the same factory and share one profile design. However, each one moves in its own way and uses its own materials.
Louver system
Motorized aluminum louvers form a roof against rain when closed and give shade and airflow when open. Because they stop at any angle in between, they follow the sun; on SkyMax and SkyPro the panels also slide back.
Motors and remote control
You run the louvers, motorized fabric roofs and zip screens from a remote. With the optional rain and wind sensors, the roof can also close by itself when the weather turns.
Hidden drainage
Rainwater collects in channels along the louvers and drains down through the posts. Drainage and wiring stay inside the profiles, so no pipes or cables show on your patio.
Fabric roofs
On retractable pergolas, a PVC-based technical fabric folds back along rails, by motor or by hand. The Avantgarde fabric also offers blackout, waterproof and flame-retardant properties.
Zip screens
The fabric edges of i-Zip Screen run in side rails with a zip, so the screen stays taut. It protects against sun, wind, rain and insects, and the motor box stays hidden.
Finishes and colors
The aluminum profiles carry an electrostatic powder coat and join with stainless steel fittings. You pick RAL colors or wood-grain finishes to match your home.

We design our systems for rain, wind and snow. However, the series alone does not decide how a louvered roof performs in your backyard. First, our technical team takes the dimensions, ground, wind and sun direction from your drawings or a dealer site visit. Then it calculates the load-bearing details and plans the drainage point and power supply with the project. The results go into a spec sheet for your project, and architects get drawings and technical data from the same team.

From drawings to commissioning, step by step.
Louvered roof technology starts with your drawings and ends with commissioning. We follow the same sequence on every project, so values, production and installation line up.

Brief and drawings
We take the dimensions, ground, wind and sun direction from your drawings or a dealer site visit. Your use case and any side enclosure become clear at this stage.

Series and details
Together we choose the series, color, finish and extras such as sensors, LED lighting and heaters. Then we plan the drainage point and power supply with the project.

Spec sheet and quote
The project values go into a spec sheet. You receive the written quote and delivery schedule at the same stage.
- 04
Production
We make the system to order in our factory in Sakarya, Türkiye. The profiles receive their electrostatic powder coat before packing.
- 05
Installation
An authorized dealer or your project's installation crew installs the system. They work with the installation manual, drawings and remote technical support from our team.

Commissioning and service
After installation the crew starts the system and commissions it. Warranty registration and after-sales support then run through one contact.

Questions about louvered roof technology.
Do louvered pergolas leak?
Closed louvers form a sheltered roof against rain. Water collects in channels along the louvers and drains down through the posts. With the correct pitch, correct installation and regular maintenance your patio stays dry in the rain. An optional rain sensor can also close the roof at the first drops. Our team then defines the drainage point with your project.
Can a louvered roof handle wind and snow?
We design our systems for rain, wind and snow. However, the load a louvered roof can take depends on the series, size, location and how it attaches to the house. That is why our technical team calculates wind and snow values for each project and confirms them in writing. This way you decide on the facts of your own patio, not a general figure.
Will I see cables or pipes?
Not with the louvered systems. Power lines and drainage run inside the profiles, so no pipes or cables show on your patio. On i-Zip Screen the motor box also stays hidden. We plan the power supply for extras such as LED lighting, heaters and sensors during planning. The wiring route is then clear before installation.
What colors do aluminum pergolas come in?
The aluminum profiles carry an electrostatic powder coat in RAL colors or wood-grain finishes. The i-Zip Screen and Toscana fabrics also offer color options; Toscana, for example, comes in cream, gray and beige tones. We choose the color with you from your drawings or during a dealer site visit, and it goes into the written quote.
